Hollyoaks star Emma Rigby strips off for steamy outdoor sex scene as she stars in new thriller The Protector

But Emma Rigby is world's apart from her days on the soap now as she filmed a steamy sex scene for her latest film, The Protector.
The actress, 29, stars in the upcoming thriller which is being distributed by PassionFlix, a streaming service that specialises in adapting romance novels for film.

Based on the book of the same name by Jodi Ellen Malpas, Emma stars as heiress Camille Logan, whose life is put in danger thanks to one of her father's bad business deals.
She ends up falling for troubled former soldier Jake Sharp (Diarmuid Murtagh) after he is hired to be her bodyguard. In stills released from the film, the pair can be seen sharing a passionate kiss outdoors surrounded by trees and bushes.
They later get even more intimate, with shots of Emma as Camille rolling her head back in ecstasy while in another she appears nude surrounded by woods.

Emma shot to fame in Channel 4's Hollyoaks, which she first took on in 2005, at the age of 15.
She was highly praised for her anorexia storyline on the soap, and even bagged a British Soap Award nomination for Best Actress in 2008.
She departed the soap two years later to pursue other projects, and went on to star in the likes of Prisoners' Wives and Ripper Street.

Speaking previously to MailOnline, the actress also noted that she has no interest in indulging in a typical 'celebrity' lifestyle.
She said: 'As you grow up you become comfortable with yourself and you realise what really matters in life.
'Celebrity and parties... I don't have any interest in. I look at people I want to be like, like Dame Judy Walters and Dame Judi Dench.'
