Gemma Collins hits out at Dancing On Ice judge Jason Gardiner for body shaming her as she reveals she's lost two-stone in weight (but admits she boozed until 3am after elimination)

An eventful month came to an end on Sunday evening as Gemma Collins became the fifth celebrity to be eliminated from Dancing On Ice
And the TV personality has signed off by hitting out at acid-tongued judge Jason Gardiner for fat-shaming her as she laboured to keep up with consistently better skaters on the hit show.
Appearing on Monday's edition of This Morning, she admitted the Australian dancer's constant barbs as he attempted to critique her performance prompted their memorable one-air spat.

Adopting a conciliatory stance towards Gardiner, her most outspoken critic, she said:  'He is there to do a job after all. It’s just when he body shamed me, the first form of defense is attack.  'He body shamed me so I went on the defensive. I would have been loved to have been spun around for a count of eight, but I couldn’t.
'When he said I wouldn’t be able to be lifted - yeah, we know that Jason, no need to say it.'

Reflecting on on her working relationship with professional skater Matt Evers, she revealed their gruelling daily rehearsals has kick-started a new fitness regime - and helped her lose weight.
'I didn’t realise I was so unfit, but I came out and said I’ll give it a go,' she explained. 'I won’t skate anymore but I will one hundred percent keep up with the fitness. I feel so much better.  Happy it's over: While openly relieved that her time on the show has come to an end, Gemma admitted there were positives to be taken from her month on the ice

I've lost two and a half stone, it just doesn’t go off my face.'
She added: 'I can tie my shoes now. I'm just feeling fit, climbing the stairs and feeling OK. I might take to the rink once a week, but for fun.'
However Gemma's new lifestyle was temporarily forgotten on Sunday evening as she cut loose with boyfriend James Argent after weeks of rigorous discipline.    I drank myself silly last night,' she said. 'I haven’t been able to let my hair down for weeks. Arg was there singing away. I arrived at the hotel at 3am... sorry if you can smell brandy!'
The TV personality also dismissed claims that the awkward fall during the closing elements of her week three performance was staged.
'Come on, why would I fake that?' she said. 'I was in pain, crying for days. As they say, it’s the knocks in life that make you stronger.' She added: 'People were cruel, that’s why I stood my ground with Jason. There are a lot of girls out there who are bigger who don’t feel confident at the gym or starting exercise'
Gemma's appearance comes shortly after Gardiner insisted he had no idea who she was before she joined the show and said her infamous on-screen feud with him was 'libellous'.
Speaking on ITV's Lorraine after Gemma's elimination, he said: 'I didn't know who Gemma was before the show. What she said to me was libellous. It shows a lot about her character.'
