Almost half of the properties in a single Surrey village are valued at £1million or more, new research shows.
A seven-figure price tag applies to 44.24 per cent of properties in the desirable Surrey village of Cobham, according to the findings by property website Zoopla.
Cobham is Britain's top location for the proportion of million-pound homes outside of
London. All but tied with it is Beaconsfield, in Buckinghamshire, on 44.17 per cent.
But due to the locations' relatively small size neither of them make it onto the list of the towns with the most million-pound properties by number.
This is topped by Guildford with 5,615 million-pound homes to Cobham's 2,963 properties that qualify for Millionaire's Row.

So, why Cobham? Annabel Dixon, of Zoopla, said: 'It might be surprising to see almost half of all properties in Cobham valued at £1million or more, but along with Esher and Weybridge, the village makes up a sought-after area of Surrey dubbed the Golden Triangle.
'It might be well known as a footballer enclave, thanks to Chelsea FC's training ground nearby, but it also boasts excellent air, road and rail links, including a direct service to London Waterloo and is just a few miles from the outstanding natural beauty of the Surrey Hills.'
Top 10 areas with the highest proportion of £1m-plus homes
The struggles of the property market have hit Millionaire's Row over the past year. The bulk of the reduction has occurred in London and the South East, with the rest of the regions either increasing or remaining stable.
London is still streets ahead of the other British regions but has also witnessed the steepest decline in property millionaires.
Now with only 395,871, it means that as many as 34,849 homes in the capital have had their million-pound status revoked.

However, the East is catching up gradually, with a sizeable increase of 6,237 £1million-plus homes since the start of the 2018.
The West Midlands also enjoyed noticeable growth, with 1,002 homes reaching seven figures.
Wales has the fewest property millionaires but has enjoyed an increase of 150 since last year, averaging a new seven-figure property every 2.4 days.

Ms Dixon added: 'It's hard to ignore the overall decline in million-pound properties in the past 12 months.
'But it's clear to see the majority of this decline resides in London. Outside of the capital, there has been significant growth in seven-figure properties, especially in the East of England and West Midlands.'

Mark Harris, of mortgage brokers SPF Private Clients, said: 'If anyone was looking for proof of house price falls in London and the South East, these figures illustrate this with a decline in the number of property millionaires.
'However, it is premature to say that this is making properties in this part of the country more affordable as London still has by far the most property millionaires of any region in Britain.
'Elsewhere, the number of property millionaires rose, particularly in the East of England and West Midlands, demonstrating that the property market in Britain is diverse and what is happening in one region may not be replicated in another.'
