During the interview with Phillip Schofield and his temporary co-host, Rochelle Humes, Wes admitted he wanted to do Dancing On Ice and their relationship at the same time, but it just didn't work out.
The handsome former design engineer also dismissed any claims that he's an 'item' with his professional skating partner, Vanessa Bauer, who found herself in a feud with Megan before their split.'Every couple wants to spend quality time together, have something to look forward to, whether that be training 10 hours a day, then three hours in the evening will be quality time.
'But with it [my routine] changing week-by-week, as you know, Saturday or Sunday, you don’t know what the schedule will be, who will go home, you can never plan ahead.'
However, Phil protested to this comment as he responded with: 'Many people have changing schedules, especially in this business. Dancing On Ice is only ten weeks, you have been working on it since October, but there's an finite time here... it ends in a few weeks' time!'
To which Wes replied with: 'This is what I was trying to explain when in our relationship, I can’t say: "Wait there and I’ll do Dancing On Ice, I can’t spend any quality time with you, wait there for me."
